Did Bronny James play tonight? Lakers-Grizzlies box score
Fans react to Bronny James’ Lakers debut
Lebron James and his son Bronny became the first father-son duo to play in the same NBA game.
Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers finished a long road trip Wednesday night with a game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Lakers lost 131-114 to fall to 4-4 on the season, but James did get some playing time late in the blowout. He finished with two points in five minutes.
The rookie played in three games during the road trip, including a game in Cleveland where he scored the first official points of his NBA career. He also played in Toronto but didn’t record a statistic outside of a -2 in the plus/minus column.
James is expected to join the G League’s South Bay Lakers following LA’s road trip.
