Monsters, Charge games coming to Spectrum cable on Rock Entertainment Sports Network

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Rock Entertainment Sports Network (RESN) is now available on Spectrum cable in Northeast Ohio. The network, which broadcasts Cleveland Monsters hockey and Cleveland Charge basketball games along with original Cleveland Cavaliers programming, can be found on Spectrum channel 979.

The network, which airs Lake Erie Crushers baseball as well as local college and high school football games, too, can also be accessed for free over-the-air on channel 22.1. Rock Entertainment Sports Network is a joint venture between Dan Gilbert’s Rock Entertainment Group and Gray Media, the parent company of WOIO Ch. 19 and WUAB Ch. 43.

Spectrum customers will be able to watch 22 Monsters games and 14 Charge games this season. The network has produced more than 55 live broadcasts since debuting in August. Spectrum will offer RESN in other parts of the state soon, a press release said.

Last month, a Gray Media spokesperson said the network’s live sports broadcasts would be available on WUAB when The CW programming moves to WBNX-TV 55 in September 2025.
