Walmart Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Dates and times you need to know
Black Friday has become more of an idea than a date, with major retailers rolling out deals and discounts for weeks leading up to and after Thanksgiving.
Walmart is no exception with a series of shopping events spread out across three weeks with different start times for online and in-store customers. Members of Walmart+, the retailer’s membership club, get early access.
Here’s how Walmart’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales will work:
- Event number one began online Monday Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. CT for Walmart+ members and at 4 p.m. CT for everyone else. It starts in stores Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 a.m. local time.
- Event number two begins online Monday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. CT for paid Walmart+ members and 4 p.m. CT for everyone else. It will start in stores Friday, Nov. 29 (the traditional Black Friday) when stores open at 6 a.m. local time.
- Cyber Monday deals will start Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. CT for Walmart+ members and 7 p.m. CS for all customers on Walmart.com and the Walmart app.
Walmart has expanded its Walmart+ early access this year by two hours for regular shopping days and by three hours for Cyber Monday. Annual membership to Walmart+ is $49 until Dec. 2.
