Staples unveils Black Friday sale: When to get deals on tech and more

Black Friday has come early to Staples, which, like with fellow retailers including Target and Walmart, means deals usually reserved for after Thanksgiving are already waiting for eager shoppers.

The office supply (and more) company launched its early holiday deals on Tuesday and will run them through the end of the month, allowing early birds to get their hands on discounted tech, home office supplies and more.

Like with other holidays, many retailers have taken to launching Black Friday deals way before the day itself, encouraging customers to shop more and earlier. The traditional Black Friday filled with scenes of crowds stampeding through doors and tussling over the hottest products has given way to a much quieter, more subdued preference for online shopping, prompting more and more retailers to make deals once offered only on the coveted day available for longer.

When to shop Staples Black Friday sale

Staples early Black Friday deals are available Nov. 12 through Nov. 30, though some specific sales may spill over into the month of December.

Some deals are available online and in stores, while others are in-store only, and some are only available between certain, more limited dates within the larger timeframe.

When planning your shopping, keep in mind that all Staples locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Black Friday.
