Katie Holmes Is Living at the Intersection of Luxury and GORPcore

If you are a man on Raya who fashions himself a “freelance creative director,” be warned: Katie Holmes is coming for your crown.

There is a certain kind of man who exists in the middle of the luxury fashion and outdoorsman style Venn Diagram—indigenous to wine bars and climbing gyms all across New York City’s Lower East Side and Northeast Los Angeles. Holmes nodded to their style when she bundled up for her stroll in New York City, wearing a GORPy Marfa Stance jacket. The patchwork bomber—a limited edition, which will set you back $1,545—is not only practical in its water-repellant properties but in its versatility, too. Were she in a more twee mood, Holmes could simply reverse the jacket to show off its quilted side.

She added to her androgynous look with a pair of wide-legged gray jeans with a raw hem, and her stalwart Acne Studios square-toe loafers. Holmes carried her buttery leather Khaite tote (another investment piece!), in brown, which coordinated with her earthy bomber. She also donned a pair of funky gradient aviators, sans nosepieces.

The actor added a touch of drama to her outfit with her sweater, which peaked out from underneath her Marfa Stance jacket. The white knit was complete with an exaggerated turtleneck, which came all the way up to her chin. A gal’s gotta stay warm, after all!
