About Julie Evans and Matilda Kalaveshi
Julie Evans is an expert in fashion and technology with over a decade of industry experience. Starting in fashion buying and design, including a four-year role as Head of Buying & Design at Zara, she pivoted to sustainable tech, founding Sustalytics, an AI-driven company that helps retailers forecast bestsellers and reduce waste.
Julie’s innovative approach with generative AI enhances the fashion supply chain, making her a sought-after speaker at events like Premiere Vision in both Paris & NYC and Sourcing at Magic, Las Vegas. Known for her expertise in visual recognition and product strategy, she consults globally, guiding brands to implement AI for streamlined operations and stronger consumer engagement.
Matilda Kalaveshi
Over the past two decades, Ms. Kalaveshi has worked with a wide range of retailers across the fashion and e-commerce sectors, focusing on domestic, international, and duty-free markets. She has established herself as a recognized Key Opinion Leader and industry expert, contributing to numerous panels and publications, including Sourcing Magic, Première Vision NYC, Women in Retail, Miami Swim Week Fashion Summit, Apparel Textile Sourcing Miami, and more.
Currently, she serves as the Director of Brands for Mana Fashion Services and also runs her own retail consulting boutique. Additionally, she teaches the business side of fashion retail at Miami Dade College. Her areas of expertise include e-commerce, travel retail (TR), omnichannel retail, pricing, consumer trends, go-to-market strategy, emerging brands, retail development, and fashion AI.
