2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships Trading Cards on Sale Now
Following the historic success of the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Box National Teams at the World Lacrosse Box Championships this fall in Utica, N.Y., fans can now own first-of-their-kind trading cards commemorating the players who led the U.S. to new heights.
TFL SPORTS LLC, in partnership with Lacrosse Canada, Haudenosaunee Nationals and USA Lacrosse, is producing licensed limited-edition trading card sets for both men’s and women’s teams. Only 500 packs are being produced for each organization.
Cards will be issued for each rostered player, and rare parallels and autographed cards are guaranteed in each pack.
These are the first trading cards ever issued for a World Lacrosse Box Championship and the first women’s box trading cards ever produced. Rising star players from the collegiate ranks like Joey Spallina (Syracuse) and CJ Kirst (Cornell) will be available on licensed cards for the first time, too.
“Lacrosse trading cards have grown in popularity in recent years and this offering represents the game’s best players in one program,” TFL Sports LLC member Todd Tobias said. “We saw the World Lacrosse Box Championships as an opportunity to promote these incredible athletes by providing unique and historically significant trading cards to box lacrosse fans.”
“We are thrilled to collaborate with TFL to introduce the first-ever World Lacrosse Box Championships trading cards,” said Will Blake, Vice President of Corporate Partnership Development at USA Lacrosse. “Thrilled for our exceptional men’s and women’s athletes on the USA Lacrosse National Teams rosters. Thrilled for our fans to have a fun, new touchpoint to connect with the sport. And thrilled to demonstrate the expanding commercial opportunities for lacrosse as we work towards the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.”
