Visit Myrtle Beach announces winter sports lineup
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The action-packed lineup for Myrtle Beach sports welcomes fans of every age for the winter season.
From basketball and football to the American game of cornhole, teams and fans can experience the season’s top events while enjoying the coastal atmosphere.
The Myrtle Beach Invitational college basketball tournament, the Myrtle Beach Bowl college football game, and the American Cornhole League Collegiate Cornhole Championship are all on this year’s lineup.

The 44th Annual Beach Ball Classic and the 77th annual Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl will both take place at a high school level.
“Sports events bring high energy to the Myrtle Beach area year long, especially in our winter months when we welcome cool coastal breezes and competitions at the highest level,” said Jonathan Paris, Executive Director of Sports Tourism for Visit Myrtle Beach.
