Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) will return to professional boxing for the first time in 19 years when he faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) in a heavyweight bout on Friday. The fight was originally scheduled for July 20, but it was postponed after Tyson had an ulcer flare-up while on a flight in May. Friday’s bout will be contested over eight two-minute rounds and is sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. Paul has won four consecutive fights since losing to Tommy Fury by split decision in February 2023, while Tyson has fought in two exhibitions since returning in 2005. Heavyweight boxers typically wear 10-ounce gloves, but 14-ounce gloves will be used on Friday.

The latest Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson lines have Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) as the -245 favorite (risk $245 to win $100) at FanDuel. Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) is the +194 underdog (risk $100 to win $194). The over/under for total rounds is 5.5, with the Over shaded to -142. The fight will be subject to modified Tyson vs. Paul rules.
