In addition to Kril’s Fork in Another Crab’s Treasure, he also has access to Magic Attacks that can be increased with Old World Whorls. When Kril initially obtains his Magic abilities, including his Shell abilities and Adaptations, he will have a set number of charges, and each use of an ability or adaptation will require the use of a specific number of charges.
To increase the amount of charges available to Kril at any given time, he will need to collect Old World Whorls of which there are 11 in the game. Since these are highly sought-after items, they will only be found in hard-to-reach locations. Additionally, these are entirely optional items to collect. They are not required to reach the end of Another Crab’s Treasure.
Another Crab’s Treasure: How To Upgrade Your Weapon (Stainless Relics)
It’s Kril and his little fork against an endless ocean of baddies in Another Crab’s Treasure, here’s how you can make that fork stronger!
How To Increase Kril’s Magic Charges in Another Crab’s Treasure
Collect All 11 Old World Whorls
When you find one of the Old World Whorls, it will be indicated as an item on the ground, similar to how every other collectible is showcased. Additionally, not every Old World Whorl will automatically give Kril an additional charge. Instead, only the first one will.
For every charge after that, Kril will need to find 2 Old World Whorls to increase his Magic Charges. Finally, to know how much an ability is going to cost, in terms of charges, players can view the ability at the bottom of the Shell’s description in Another Crab’s Treasure.
When your charges are depleted, there are a couple of ways to regenerate them.
The easiest method is to look for the recharge locations that resemble a swirling purple mist. However, these are rare to find and so the better alternative is to fight enemies.
Anytime Kril does damage, he regenerates his Magic Charges,
so seek out weak enemies to take down.
