Healdsburg plans holiday events to promote business
The Sonoma County tourism destination is gearing up for holiday celebrations that will showcase downtown businesses.
The Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce and Stay Healdsburg have launched a holiday celebration that runs through Dec. 31 to promote local businesses.
Called “A Season to Sparkle,” the two business and tourism organizations are partnering with Healdsburg wineries, restaurants, hotels and shops on holiday menus, tree-lighting ceremonies, late-night shopping with wine in the plaza and more, according to Jessica Bohon, director of tourism and marketing for Stay Healdsburg and the Healdsburg Chamber.
Among the events are a wreath-making class hosted by Appellation, which is building a hotel in Healdsburg. The 2-hour “Crafted Appellation” program takes place Nov. 21 and Nov. 23. It will include premium wines and gourmet culinary snacks from Chef Charlie Palmer. Tickets are priced at $145.
Late-night shopping events are set for Nov. 29, Dec. 9, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, and a small business holiday makers’ market will take place Nov. 30.
