Arts One season
Springdale-based Arts One Presents’ 2025 theater season features “Empower the Arts: A Gala Celebrating 60 Years of the Arts in Springdale,” April 24 at Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery, 6461 E. Guy Terry Road, Springdale.

‘Cirque Christmas’
“A Magical Cirque Christmas,” a touring variety show “full of nostalgia, charm and awe-inspiring performances for all ages” with cirque entertainers performing “to your favorite holiday music,” according to a news release, is onstage at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Little Rock’s Robinson Center Performance Hall, 426 W. Christmas-themed tour
The Rogers Historical Museum, 313 S. Second St. at Cherry Street, Rogers, offers “Oh, Christmas Tree, a Themed Tour of the Hawkins House,” starting Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday through Jan. 4. Visitors will tour through rooms decorated to reflect the history of the Christmas tree and its decor. Admission is free. UALR exhibition
The biennial BFA and Professional Practices Exhibition opens Monday in the Brad Cushman Gallery at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Windgate Center of Art + Design, 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock. A reception is set for 5 p.m. Thursday. The exhibition, up until Dec. 6, consists of artwork by students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and students in the Professional Practices course, formerly known as the Capstone course, for the fall 2024 semester. Military/arts grants
Jan. 15 is the deadline to apply for the Creative Forces Community Engagement grant program, part of the National Endowment for the Arts and Mid-America Arts Alliance’s Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network.
Grants support non-clinical, community-based arts engagement programming for military and veteran populations, including family members and caregivers, beginning on or after July 1, 2025, in two categories:
◼️ Emerging — cost share/matching grants up to $10,000 for one-year projects for organizations “to develop and implement new or emerging non-clinical arts engagement programs or for small organizations to provide non-clinical arts engagement,” according to a news release
◼️ Advanced — cost share/matching grants of $10,000 to $20,000 for one-year projects or up to $50,000 for two-year projects for organizations with established military-related non-clinical arts engagement programming.
