Black Friday — the annual one-day shopping phenomenon that ushers in holiday gift-buying season and is usually marked by deep discounts and exasperated brick-and-mortar shoppers — is fast approaching.
But do you know when Black Friday and Cyber Monday is, exactly, and are you ready? The dates are closer than you may realize.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is always the Thursday after Thanksgiving, so this year, Black Friday will fall on November 29.
Likewise, Cyber Monday is the first Monday after Black Friday, which means Cyber Monday this year will fall on Monday, December 2.
That gives you roughy a week or so to get your shopping list in order.
Where to find the best Black Friday deals
The big-box stores such as Best Buy, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart are rolling out Black Friday deals now.
