Monroe Regional Airport preparing for holiday travel
MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Monroe Regional Airport is preparing for holiday travel, and say they don’t expect to see much change from last year.
Monroe Regional Airport Director Charles Butcher says “Most of the flights are full, thankfully, that’s a good thing. I haven’t seen – I haven’t heard of an uptick in actual travel, other than just a regular day. But our travel has been up over the last month or so; so, Delta did say they are seeing a little bit of an uptick. Most of our flights are full.”
According to the airport’s website, if you plan to travel using American Airlines, they require a 45 minute check-in prior to flight time. Delta Airlines requires check-in 30 minutes prior to flight time.
