Aerospace company to break ground on facility in Warner Robins, bringing 75 jobs

Warner Robins, Ga (WGXA) – Warner Robins continues to experience significant growth, with KIHOMAC set to break ground on a new aerospace manufacturing facility on November 21 at 1:00 PM.

The state-of-the-art facility will specialize in the production of metal, composite, and electrical components for aerospace applications, serving both domestic and international markets. Located in the Robins International Industrial Park, the 130,000-square-foot site is expected to be completed by 2025.

According to city officials, the project will bring over 75 new full-time jobs to the area. Mayor LaRhonda Patrick emphasized the importance of these opportunities, referring to them as “career jobs” that offer long-term stability and growth.

“The more career employers we can bring here—I say ‘career employers’ because these are jobs where people can work, grow, and retire after years of service—the better,” Patrick said.

The facility stems from a partnership between KIHOMAC and the Joint Development Authority of Peach County and the City of Warner Robins. It is expected to significantly bolster the local manufacturing base, enhancing support for the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex at Robins Air Force Base, a critical hub for military aircraft readiness.

Mayor Patrick highlighted the broader economic benefits of such investments.

“It only means more new jobs coming into our community—whether at the local grocery store, the coffee shop—there’s going to be more opportunities stemming from investments like this.”

Patrick also emphasized the city’s commitment to supporting Robins Air Force Base.

“Anything that supports Robins Air Force Base—the City of Warner Robins is going to rally behind it.”

Looking to the future, the mayor hinted at other exciting developments on the horizon.

“We don’t know yet who will take the next big step, but all we can do is continue to promote the City of Warner Robins.”
