SMAC Entertainment Signs Terrell Owens and Jordan Schultz (EXCLUSIVE)
SMAC Entertainment has signed Pro Football Hall of Famer, TV personality and entrepreneur Terrell “T.O.” Owens and NFL Insider Jordan Schultz to its growing family of genre-defining sports and entertainment personalities.
The former five-time First-Team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler Owens and news-breaking NFL insider Schultz join SMAC’s roster of athletes, broadcasters, coaches and pop culture personalities. Led by co-founder Constance Schwarz-Morini, SMAC will identify new sports media opportunities, secure strategic brand endorsements, manage production projects and architect additional business ventures.
SMAC’s work with both personalities will begin immediately and be spearheaded by CEO Constance Schwartz-Morini with talent manager & digital content director Scott Schmertz representing Owens and strategic partnerships and communications EVP Jose Diaz representing Schultz.
“We’re thrilled to add T.O. and Jordan to the SMAC family. They’re both at the top of their game and are setting the standards in their industry,” says Schwartz-Morini. “T.O. and Jordan have already brought contagious energy to our team and we’re excited to help them bring their visions for their careers in media, business and branding to life.”
During his career, T.O. was a prolific receiver known for making big plays and his passion on the field. Drafted out of little-known University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 1996, he spent several years with the San Francisco 49ers before playing with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals throughout his career. A member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, T.O. finished his career with 1,078 catches for 15,934 yards, 14.8 yards per catch and 153 touchdowns, ranking third in all-time receiving yards and touchdowns.
Since his retirement in 2010, T.O. has made several appearances in film and TV, including “Any Given Sunday,” “Dysfunctional Friends,” “About Last Night,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Celebrity Apprentice” and his own reality TV show, “T.O. Show,” on VH1. He is also the co-host of the podcast “Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. & Hatch” alongside former NFL receiver Matthew Hatchette.
T.O. additionally manages multiple brands as an entrepreneur, including Prototype 81, a lifestyle and apparel company, craft candle company Loft81 and skin care product MeSkinCare made for the unique needs of men and the skin of people of color.
In fewer than three years, Jordan Schultz has quickly established himself as one of the most trusted and prolific NFL Insiders in the business. A former college athlete who loves football, Schultz’s unique relationship-building ability and dynamic on-screen presence have helped him flourish in the news-breaking space.
He recently signed with Fox Sports to make regular appearances on FS1 shows “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” and “Speak,” with additional programming to come. He also launched a new weekly football show with NBA superstar Draymond Green titled “Why is Draymond Green Talking About Football with Jordan Schultz?,” combining Schultz’s insider information with Green’s perspective as an elite athlete. Schultz has previously held roles at ESPN and Bleacher Report.
SMAC Entertainment also represents Wiz Khalifa, Michael Strahan, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, Stefon Diggs, DK Metcalf, Common, Erin Andrews, Diana Flores, Nikki and Brie Garcia, Tony Gonzalez and more. They recently produced the critically acclaimed documentary “BS High” for MAX, the third season of “Coach Prime” on Prime Video, the just-released hit docuseries “Evolution of the Black Quarterback” also for Prime Video and the newly-announced docuseries “Black Comedy in America” for Vice.
