Bears vs. Vikings injury report: Latest updates, news for Friday

The Chicago Bears (4-6) released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 12 game against the Minnesota Vikings (8-2) and there were some notable updates.

The Bears have ruled out safety Elijah Hicks (ankle) and guard Ryan Bates (concussion) for Sunday’s game, as both haven’t practiced all week. But there’s encouraging news for running back D’Andre Swift, who’s been on the injury report with a groin injury. He was a full participant on Friday and is officially questionable, but it sounds like he’s on track to play.

Elsewhere, wide receiver Keenan Allen popped up on the injury report Friday after rolling his ankle during practice and was pulled midway through, according to Matt Eberflus. Chicago is “hopeful” Allen will be able to suit up against the Vikings. Rookie offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie practiced for the first time in a few weeks, and he’s questionable against Minnesota.
