No. 11 Tennessee (9-2, 5-2 SEC) defeated UTEP (2-9, 2-5 C-USA), 56-0, Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
The Vols led, 28-0, at halftime after a scoreless first quarter.
Tennessee redshirt freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava completed 17-of-23 passing attempts for 209 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 36 yards on seven attempts.
Dylan Sampson recorded 77 rushing yards and one touchdown on 11 attempts. He also totaled two receptions for 25 yards. Peyton Lewis had 46 rushing yards and two touchdowns on two attempts.
Bru McCoy recorded four receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns, while Ethan Davis totaled two receptions for 19 yards and one touchdown
Squirrel White and Cameron Seldon also recorded touchdowns for the Vols.
