J.Lo Has Legs for Days in a Pleated Micro Miniskirt and Thigh-High Boots

Jennifer Lopez is keeping the micro miniskirt trend alive and well—even right in the middle of fall.

Working with her longtime stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lopez recently shared photos of a new outfit with her 250 million Instagram followers. In the glamorous snaps, the multi-hyphenate wowed in a navy blue set from Patou. This consisted of a slouchy military jacket with sleek lapels, gold buttons, and a wide belted waist, paired with a pleated micro miniskirt in a matching dark blue hue.

Lopez rounded out the look with more statement-making pieces, including a pair of black leather thigh-high boots with a pointed toe and stiletto heels. For good measure, she finished off the ensemble with yellow-tinted ’70s-style sunglasses, an array of gold rings, and her signature glossy nude lip.

Celebrity stylist duo Zangardi and Haenn (known on social media as #RandM) have been working with Lopez for over a decade. The two previously talked about what it’s like to style the fashion icon in a 2021 interview.

“The sky’s the limit,” Haenn said at the time. Zangardi added, “This is why we love J Lo; she’s an actress and a musician and a businesswoman—we really can have fun with such a variety of looks. One day we are pulling for a music video and the next week we could be pulling for the Oscars.”

While Zangardi and Haenn help guide Lopez’s wardrobe choices, the decision ultimately lies with her. Zangardi noted, “She completely trusts us, but also has a point of view and knows what works for her. It really is the perfect partnership!”
