Bale to join TNT Sports team for Liverpool v Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League

Gareth Bale will join the TNT Sports punditry team for coverage of Liverpool’s blockbuster UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid.

Liverpool and Real Madrid go head-to-head on Wednesday, November 27 at Anfield.

Bale memorably scored one of the greatest goals in Champions League history for Real Madrid against Liverpool in the 2018 final.

Bale followed up his stunning overhead kick with a second goal to help Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 and win their third consecutive title.

Wales’ all-time leading scorer won the Champions League five times during his nine seasons with Real Madrid.

Bale left Madrid to join Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC in June 2022.

He retired from football at the age of 33 in January 2023.

Liverpool are top of the Champions League league phase after four rounds of matches and are the only team with a perfect record.

Real Madrid are 18th after two wins and two defeats from their four games.

They were beaten 3-1 at home by AC Milan in their last fixture.

Liverpool and Real Madrid last met in the last 16 of the 2022/23 Champions League with the Spanish side winning 6-2 on aggregate.
