Real estate company with more than 30 offices acquires Cumberland County business

A real estate company has acquired a Cumberland County business.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty has acquired Sailhamer Realty.

The Shippensburg-based realty company is joining the Chambersburg Office of Homesale Realty.

“Having John Dyson and the Sailhamer Team join our Chambersburg office enhances our service to Shippensburg and all of Franklin and Cumberland counties. Our local teams have been working hard to bring the BHHS Homesale and the Homesale Complete experience to both agents and consumers on the I-81 corridor, and this move will certainly support those efforts,” Rod Messick, CEO of Homesale Realty, said in a news release.

The deal was completed in September. Terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.

Berkshire Hathaway Homesale Realty is based in Manor Township, Lancaster County, and has more than 30 offices serving Maryland and Pennsylvania.
