Local business gives back by giving away bags of free food

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – It’s the season of giving back and one local business is taking that to heart.

Top Crab Seafood and Bar said they wanted to show their appreciation to the community for their support.

On Wednesday morning, they gave away bags of food for free. Inside the bags were some sausage, corn, potatoes and eggs.

This is the fourth year they’ve done this

“We were lined up all the way down to the old hibachi grill,” said DJ Patterson, with Top Crab Seafood and Bar. “We went through 150 bags in less than six minutes.”

They were out of food in about 35 minutes and gave away 200 bags.
