El Paso welcomes new stores for holiday shopping: Coach, Hello Kitty, Daiso
Holiday shopping this year should be more fun, with more options because of new stores opening in malls and outlet shops around El Paso.
Hello Kitty and three Daiso stores opened earlier this year, which bring economical and collectible items for El Paso families looking for gift ideas. Men’s and women’s retail stores were added to Cielo Vista Mall or expanded at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso in Canutillo.
Coach has reopened at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso. The first Daiso store opened at the Las Palmas Marketplace on the East Side; two others followed in the Northeast and West Side. The stores are popular for Japanese snacks and drinks as well as other inexpensive household items.

Coach store reopens at Outlet Shoppes at El Paso
The popular Coach store has opened at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso, this time in an expanded location, just in time for holiday shopping.
The newly relocated Coach store, which opened Nov. 22, is next to the Johnston and Murphy Factory Store. It has expanded from its original location, growing from 3,967 square feet to 8,516 square feet.
Carlos Rodriguez, the General Manager of The Outlet Shoppes, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion in a press release: “We are excited to welcome the new and improved Coach just in time for the holidays as they continue to be a part of The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso family. This expansion reflects Coach’s commitment to delivering an unparalleled shopping experience to our valued customers.”
Coach specializes in handbags, luggage, accessories, and contemporary ready-to-wear fashion for women and men.
Hello Kitty opened at Shopped at Solana
The store is located on the first floor, next to FYE. Mall hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Hello Kitty, the popular anthropomorphic white cat with a red bow, is now open at the Shoppes at Solano, 750 Sunland Park Drive. The Hello Kitty store opened Oct. 23
The store features many collectible and household items, from backpacks and clothing to stationery and cups, cute lunch boxes and knickknacks in their favorite themes.
El Paso has three Daiso stores to shop during holidays
The first Japanese retail store opened in East El Paso, at 11917 Gateway Blvd., in June. Two other Daiso stores followed: 9484 Dyer St., Suite E. and 7410 Remcon Circle, Suite A.
When the first store opened, employees could not keep the shelves filled with Japanese snacks, including chips and Poky Sticks and drinks, including flavored milk. The store also offers interesting home items, including kitchen utensils, cups and plates, desk and office supplies, gardening items and makeup and hair products. It is sure to be a great place to shop for stocking stuffers.
Daiso store hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Damascus Gaming offers gaming gift ideas at Shoppes at Solana
Damascus Gaming: The Home of El Paso Esports might be a good destination when shopping for the home gamer.
The store opened in October at the Shoppes at Solana, near the Food Court. Gamers can access PCs, consoles, comfortable chairs, and tabletop space to fulfill their gaming needs.
The store also carries Funko pop figures and tabletop games, including Magic the Gathering and Star Wars.
Store hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Mango offers women’s fashions at Cielo Vista Mall
Mango, a worldwide women’s fashion chain from Barcelona, Spain, offers Mediterranean culture and style. If you are looking for what to wear to those holiday parties, you might want to stop at Mango and check out their floor-length dresses in a sleek black palette and complementing jewelry.
Trendy shoppers will discover the latest in Mango fashion, footwear, and accessories for women. It is located on the lower level, next to the Apple store.
Purificación García to open in Cielo Vista Mall
Purificación García, one of the influential figures in the Spanish design scene, provides high-quality fashions for men and women as well as accessories, including many fine leather purses. The store is on the lower level of the mall.
Men’s District relocating and expanding at Cielo Vista Mall
Men’s District specializes in the latest styles in Italian-brand dress suits and accessories for men and kids. It also offers in-house tailoring and custom clothing to ensure a perfect fit for every customer.
The store is now open on the lower level across from H&M.
El OK Corral offers Western-themed clothing at Outlet mall
El OK Corral has moved to a larger, brighter retail space, F-600, next to Columbia Sportswear, at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso. The store went from a 2,143-square-foot business to a spacious 10,178-square-foot space.
El OK Corral, a family-owned establishment, is known for its wide selection of Western-style products, including boots, hats, belts, denim, and various apparel items. The store has a strong loyal customer base in El Paso, Juárez and New Mexico for its western wear.
Grand opening of El Paso Furniture store in Downtown El Paso
El Paso Furniture & Style, a family-owned furniture and boutique store, is having a grand opening in the old Holland’s Department Store building, 402 S. El Paso St.
The store brings shoppers more options in furniture and fashion.
