Samsung Galaxy phone user in the US should get One UI 7 beta soon

Samsung has finally shared its intention to launch the One UI 7 beta program for Galaxy phone users in Europe and we expect the phone maker should also bring this exciting test activity to the US.

The latest One UI 7 revelation coming from a Samsung customer representative in Germany. It says that the latest One UI beta will launch on December 5. Samsung has a history of starting new firmware testing with Germany, one of its key European markets. However, this strategy has changed in the past few years with an expansion in One UI beta access to the US and Korea. Thereafter, beta availability gradually expands in other markets including India.

Similar to the past year, we expect Samsung to release One UI 7 beta for US and Korean users alongside Germany. However, we’ll have to wait for final confirmation on this matter and whether the company keeps the program limited to the European country.

The key reason for this limited test bed is the early access. Beta programs are designed to get feedback from the first users. Such builds are known for their bug-friendly environment and could contain changes that may be unresponsive.

These bugs could disturb the apps as well as personal data. Therefore, the beta program isn’t meant for every Galaxy user who is running stable One UI software.

This year, Samsung has delayed the beta program more than ever. It usually gives away the beta program in October but that wasn’t the case with One UI 7 and the wait kept stretching.

Despite these drawbacks, most Galaxy smartphone owners may like to participate in One UI 7 beta due to the latest features and enhancements.

The Korean phone maker has made new changes in the user interface separating the notification center and the quick settings menu. These are completely redesigned with a highly customizable approach.

Animations are also refreshed for better than ever and added new elements across the lock screen and the tasks are also aiming for enhanced user experience.

Availability

Samsung Galaxy S24, 24+, and S24 Ultra will be the first smartphones to grab One UI 7 beta. These users can check the Samsung Members app and look at the latest notifications.

After joining the beta program, you need to wait for Samsung to approve your beta request and start downloading the new software build.

Note – We’ll update the article when new information about the rollout is available.
