REMINDER: The Tukwila Culture & Fashion Show is just around the corner!
This Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4–7 p.m., head to the Sullivan Center at Tukwila Village for an exciting evening that celebrates the rich diversity and creativity of Tukwila’s local immigrant and refugee-owned businesses. Businesses from Medina Mall, Tukwila’s go-to spot for African and Middle Eastern shopping experiences, and others across Tukwila will be participating.
This event will feature a fashion show showcasing a variety of stunning designs from local entrepreneurs. Attendees can discover unique clothing, accessories, jewelry, and textiles—each piece reflecting the vibrant multicultural community that makes Tukwila so special. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local and support the incredible talent that calls Tukwila home. A live DJ will be spinning music throughout and free refreshments will be available to attendees as they take in the scene and vendors.
The Tukwila Culture & Fashion Show is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of the community, culture, and creativity that make Tukwila unique. Thank you to the Somali Independent Business Alliance for putting on this event, in which we hope is the first of many future events like this celebrating fashion and style from the city’s diverse businesses.
Reminder: This event is free to attend, so bring friends and family for an evening of fashion, fun, and community spirit.
