‘America’s Got Talent’ Comedian Dead At Age 39

TMZ reported through law enforcement sources that Singh, who advanced to the semifinals of NBC’s talent competition, was in the Bay Area when he died. A toxicology report is forthcoming, the entertainment site added.

He was said to have had health issues.

Fellow comedian Jeremy Curry, whom Singh described as his “protege,” also announced his death.

“He passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I’ve posted,” Curry wrote on Facebook Thursday.

Curry noted that Singh’s funeral is scheduled for Dec. 14 in Hayward, California, not far from Fremont where the comic said he was from in his “AGT” interview.

People magazine said it had confirmed the funnyman’s passing via his fiancée, who was not named.

His credits included Comedy Central and “Family Guy,” according to his profile.

Singh nailed his audition on “America’s Got Talent,” earning extra praise from judge and comedian Howie Mandel, who called him “relatable” and “magnetic.”

“America is gonna love you,” Mandel said.
