Fitness for Fun Now Enrolling for Spring 2025 Session
This community-based wellness program is designed to assist individuals in developing healthier lifestyles through education and a structured exercise routine.
Although the program is designed for the adult exerciser, student trainers are well-prepared for participants of different ages (more than 17 years old) and backgrounds. Participants receive cardiovascular and muscular fitness assessments, body composition testing, personalized exercise prescription, access to all UREC facilities with a semester of one-on-one personal training (about 12 weeks, about three hours per week) with a senior undergraduate intern. If you are still uneasy of using public fitness centers, the student trainers are prepared to design an exercise program which can be completed in your own home with little-to-no equipment!
