Official: Jude Bellingham nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 2024

According to a recent report from Rodra (h/t RM4 Arab), Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has strong faith and trust in Arda Guler, something that was evident during their recent match against Girona.

After Guler scored a crucial goal in the second half, Ancelotti’s celebration spoke volumes.

He stood up from the bench, clapped enthusiastically, and raised his fists in joy, calling out to Guler so the young Turk could see how proud his coach was of him.

This heartfelt moment even caught the attention of the away fans at Montilivi, who could not help but appreciate the warmth between the two.

A performance worth appreciation

Guler’s performance in the match was nothing short of impressive. He scored an important goal, putting Real Madrid 2-0 up, and contributed significantly in other areas.

The youngster touched the ball 70 times, completed 51 successful passes, including five long passes without a mistake, and made a dribble.

His work off the ball was just as commendable. Guler showed his willingness to support his teammates, even putting in the effort to help out defensively when needed.

One of the most notable aspects of the match was how Guler and Ancelotti communicated during the game. The coach instructed him on when to press, and Guler responded by tracking back to help block Girona’s attacks on the left side.

Offensively, he was also involved with his teammates, offering encouragement after a missed opportunity by Endrick and even making clearances in his own penalty area when required.

Despite having limited starting opportunities under Ancelotti, Guler’s performance in this match could mark a turning point in his career at Real Madrid.

Ancelotti’s public display of confidence in him was significant, especially considering how much the coach values players who show commitment, both in attack and defence.

With such a solid display, it seems Guler may be earning more trust from the Italian manager moving forward.
