Grind Season Gym: Transforming lives through fitness and community in Racine | Racine County Eye
RACINE, WI — Grind Season Gym is in Racine more than a place to sweat—it’s where lives are transformed, friendships are built, and goals are crushed.
Dajerrian Smith founded his fitness business in 2016 and grew it into a beacon of health, resilience, and community where it now has a permanent, physical location.
The vision behind Grind Season
For Smith, Grind Season Gym culminates life lessons, family values, and unwavering faith.
“Grind Season was inspired by the morals my parents taught me, the blessings God gave me, and the lessons I’ve learned in life,” Smith shares. “The concept of grinding—a commitment to consistent effort—has always been a great equalizer for me.”
The journey hasn’t been easy, but Smith wouldn’t trade it for anything.
“It’s been a roller coaster with its highs and lows,” he admits. “But I’d do it all over again. It’s better to take the chance than to live with ‘what if.’”
