2024 NASCAR season in review: Austin Hill

No driver has won more Xfinity Series races in the last three seasons than Austin Hill, but 2024 was the first time he reached the Championship 4.

Hill had a series-high four wins this past season, giving him 10 over the past three seasons. Among his wins in 2024 was the season-opening race at Daytona for a third year in a row.

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Hill finished no worse than eighth in the first six races, winning two. Hill’s win at Daytona marked the third consecutive year he’s started the Xfinity season with a victory.

WHAT WENT WRONG: He had an up-and-down season. After his fast start, he had a stretch of 10 races where he placed outside the top 10 in seven of those events. Take away the 82 laps he led at Homestead and Hill led only 33 laps in the second half of the season.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2025: Hill returns to Richard Childress Racing in his quest to win the Xfinity Series championship.
