Northgate MarketPlace shopping center is on the market for .77 million; fully occupied with tenants | Chattanooga Times Free Press

A Hixson shopping center, located within walking distance to Northgate Mall, is for sale.

Northgate MarketPlace, at 248 Northgate Mall Dr., has more than a half dozen retail or other users. The center, which sits near the Belk end of the mall, has an asking price of $8.77 million, according to real estate brokers Russell Elliott and Paul Gaither of CBRE.

Northgate MarketPlace’s 102,221 square feet of space is all occupied, the brokers say. Also, there’s an opportunity for potential outparcels at the site.

At 9.8 acres, the parcel offers 511 parking spaces. In addition, the land has 539 feet along Northgate Mall Drive.

The center was built in 1986 and renovated in 2010, according to the brokers.

The mall is owned by CBL Properties Inc.,
