Haneesya Hanee says fashion brand rude to her mother over sponsorship query

16 Dec – Haneesya Hanee recently expressed her frustration with a fashion company for their rude response to her asking for sponsorship for an upcoming acting project.

The former Dewi Remaja took to TikTok to express her frustration, saying that she had never experienced such bad customer service, after they (the company) decided to be rude to her mother-cum-manager instead of just declining her request kindly.

“If you don’t want to sponsor me, I don’t mind. I am okay with it. But there is no need to be rude,” she said. “Not all brands can afford to sponsor. I truly understand because I am a business owner myself.”

Haneesya also shared a screenshot of the messages that her mother sent to the said brand and the responses she received.

Instead of declining properly, the person in charge of responding said that Haneesya should just “buy her own clothes” instead of looking for sponsors and that she will be rewarded if she wears “clothes that covers her aurah”.

“We don’t need any marketing from her. We don’t even know her and her crowd wouldn’t profit us a bit,” the other party stated.

Haneesya said that she has no issue with people not knowing who she is, but that they shouldn’t have been rude to her mother.

However, the actress said that she would not reveal the name of the brand, saying, “Why would I need to make them popular?”
