Live Nation Entertainment Supports FTC’s Push On All-In Pricing
Live Nation Entertainment commends the FTC’s push to mandate all-in pricing nationwide. In 2023, Live Nation led the industry in moving all its U.S. venues and festivals to all-in pricing, delivering greater transparency for fans while increasing sales for artists and fewer abandoned carts at checkout. We’ve seen benefits for fans in the 33 states plus Washington, D.C., where Live Nation operates venues.
Live Nation Entertainment has long urged the government to mandate all-in pricing for the concert industry. In June 2019, during the FTC’s Public Workshop, “That’s the Ticket,” we made clear publicly that the industry should adopt consumer-friendly protections, including price and fee transparency.
In response to the FTC’s latest industry-wide all-in pricing mandate, Live Nation has issued the following statement:
We’ve led the industry by adopting all-in pricing at all Live Nation venues and festivals and applaud the FTC’s industry-wide mandate so fans will now be able to see the total price of a ticket right upfront no matter where they go to see a show or buy a ticket.
