December 18, 2024 – Christ Church Episcopal is slated to host ’The Joy of Christmas: a Community Celebration’ from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20. This free event is open to everyone in the community who enjoys Christmas carols and will take place at Christ Church Episcopal, located at 28 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Voluntary donations will support the work of Emmaus House, an arm of the nonprofit organization United Ministries of Savannah.
This festive concert will ring in Christmas week and encourages attendees to join in singing familiar hymns and carols as well as listening to the choirs of Christ Church sing seasonal anthems and carols. The selection of music will include ancient and modern songs and will feature Benjamin Britten’ s Ceremony of Carols.
