WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Boys Frontier League basketball is the name of the game on Wednesday night, with some big matchups on tap.
In Sackets Harbor a boys Frontier League D division meeting as the Patriots hosted Copenhagen
1st quarter Marcus Castine drives the lane for the fingerroll, Patriots up 2.
Off the steal, it’s Castine with the bucket and he’s fouled, Sackets Harbor by 5.
Then it’s Spencer Oliva with the hoop off the turnover, Patriots on top 9.
Connor Brown hits in the paint, Sackets Harbor by 15.
Logan L’Hullier gets Copenhagen on the board.
Sackets Harbor beats Copenhagen 69-19.
In Dexter another boys Frontier League matchup as the General Brown Lions hosted Lowville.
1st quarter Isaiah Spence drills the 3, Lowville up 3.
Lions answer Lucas Dupee hits from downtown, cutting the Lowville lead to 2.
Michael Fayle takes the feed down low and lays in 2, Red Raiders up 3.
Brock McManaman hits the 3 from the corner, tying the game.
Fayle hits inside again.
General Brown beats Lowville 66-6.
NAC Boys Hockey The Islanders at Potsdam
Ryan Charlebois skates in and snaps off a wrister that picks the upper right corner of the net for the game’s first goal. Potsdam leads 1-0.
Liam McCarger flips a shot in from the point. Tommy Niles tucks home the rebound. Sandstoners take a 3-0 lead.
Islanders get on the scoreboard at 4-1 when Mason Savage backhands a shot over goaltender Chase Rossler who made a whopping 56 saves for the game.
Off the collision on the right wing, Owen Lovely finds the back of the net. 5-1 Potsdam.
The Islanders rallied back to within a goal at 5-4.
Before Potsdam put away their league opener 7-4
