EAG Expo reveals seminar panel & networking event for Social Immersive Entertainment Expo

Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming Expo Europe (EAG), the premier event for the international entertainment, attractions, and gaming industries, has announced that trade associations in the social entertainment industry have joined to support the new Social Immersive Entertainment Expo (SIEX), which will be co-located with EAG Expo 2025 in January. Industry leaders will share their knowledge during a two-day seminar session.

The SIE Expo Seminar will be held on the show floor, with a stage theatre erected for the occasion. Sessions will cover topics such as social entertainment and the leisure landscape of esports, XR, and competitive socialising. Speakers from Hero Zone, Frontgrid, 501 Entertainment, SEGA Amusements International, and more will take part.

Show ambassador Kevin Williams has curated the sessions and will moderate – offering his unique take on the growth of this sector during the sessions. He says: “I look forward to inviting such a wealth of experience onto the stage and will endeavor to have our guest supply the audience the information needed to grow in these emerging sectors of the market.”

Organisers have also announced a meet-the-speakers mixer event on day one, where attendees can enjoy drinks and snacks as they share ideas and meet the presenters.

Show director for EAG Expo and SIEX, Nicola Lazenby, says: “This is an amazing opportunity for delegates to experience the impact and excitement of social entertainment directly from the show floor. The mixer is a perfect companion to the SIEX trade event, focusing on the out-of-home entertainment market’s immersive entertainment, competitive play and social entertainment aspects. Created exclusively as a space for business to be done, SIEX will allow attendees three days to scope out the breadth of business opportunities available. In addition to exhibition stands, there will be live demonstrations of entertainment hardware, all conveniently located within a bespoke area of business pods, enabling franchise businesses to showcase their unique opportunities.

The Social Immersive Entertainment Expo takes place from 14 – 16 January 2025, at ExCeL London, alongside the EAG show, as well as a new co-located Casino & Gaming Expo.
