The best royal fashion moments of 2024, from Kate Middleton’s Christmas bow to Meghan Markle’s recycled red gown

Page Six is rounding up Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s best style moments from the past 12 months. We loved Kate’s white ribbon-trimmed Jenny Packham dress and matching Philip Treacy hat she wore at Trooping the Colour in June. Another standout was the violet Safiyaa dress she wore to Wimbledon. Kate’s latest look was fabulous and festive. She paired a red Alexander McQueen coat dress and plaid Emilia Wickstead skirt with black suede Ralph Lauren boots for the “Together at Christmas” carol service earlier this month.

Meghan Markle also dazzled us in red this year with her red-hot Carolina Herrera moment on the red carpet. She previously wore the dress to the Intrepid Museum’s Salute to Freedom Gala in 2021 — but kept the gown’s detachable train on for that event. Earlier this year, Meghan and Harry visited Colombia, where she rocked a perfectly tailored navy Veronica Beard vest-and-pant set. Her green one-shouldered Greta Constantine dress also deserves an honorable mention. Markle shimmered in a pink metallic jacquard dress by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, and you can’t do much better than wearing a Colombian designer in Colombia.
