WVU to host fashion show

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – West Virginia University design students will host a fashion show this Friday night.

The show will be held on May 3rd from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Students prepared for the show by focusing on the responsibility that the fashion industry can take for its environmental impact.

According to a release, they say that the show will display unique pieces created with minimal ecological impact, and will also include categories of seasonless and gender-neutral clothing.

There’s also a high school behind-the-scenes event earlier in the day, to give them a hands-on experience with the program and entering the fashion industry.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, and the show will be held at the Erickson Alumni Center.
