Best actress front-runners dish on Hollywood in Oscars roundtable

With a wide variety of hit films released in 2024, it’s anyone’s game this awards season for the prestigious acting categories.

In Spectrum News’ “The Envelope Roundtables” produced by LA Times Studios, acclaimed actresses Kate Winslet (“Lee”), Zoe Saldana (“Emilia Pérez”), Cynthia Erivo (“Wicked”), Danielle Deadwyler (“The Piano Lesson”), Demi Moore (“The Substance”) and Saoirse Ronan (“The Outrun,” “Blitz”) open up about their awards-caliber turns in this year’s high-profile films.

Winslet is once again back in the spotlight with her lead role as real-life photographer Lee Miller, who documented World War II. Winslet discussed her career and the up-and-coming generations of female performers in the new roundtable.
