WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) – As the holiday travel season ramps up, many people are heading to their destinations on Monday morning.
At Bradley International Airport, there were no significant delays reported early in the day.
However, airport officials anticipate that the busiest travel window will be between 8 a.m. and noon.
Travelers are advised to plan ahead by considering factors like parking, transportation, checking bags, and potential wait times at security when calculating the time needed to catch their flights.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has forecasted that Friday, December 20, was the busiest day for air travel this holiday season, with December 27 expected to experience similar heavy crowds as travelers return home.
