Another Joliet Success: New Business Coming To Louis Joliet Pointe

JOLIET — More than two years have passed since Joliet Patch reported that the Bed, Bath & Beyond storefront at 2850 Plainfield Road was going out of business as part of a nationwide downsizing negatively impacting 56 stores.

The national retailer sold a variety of home goods, bedding, kitchenware, towels and other home decor.

Now, there’s good news on the horizon for the city of Joliet.

The empty Bed, Bath & Beyond store is being remodeled right now to make way for a Burlington store. There are signs posted along Plainfield Road letting motorists know that the Burlington is coming soon to the Louis Joliet Pointe. The new Burlington store will open next to the Michales crafts store.

” As we’ve grown from a single store operating out of a factory in Burlington, New Jersey into over 1,000 stores across the country, we’ve held true to our principle of delivering amazing values to customers in every aspect of our business,”the Burlington website proclaims.

Burlington has not announced when its new store on Route 30 will open. Burlington also operates another Joliet store, along Larkin Avenue in the shopping center anchored by the VASA Fitness and Portillo’s Pickup restaurant.
