Travel outlook for Christmas
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Overall the travel forecast looks good for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but there could be a few trouble spots.
Looking wet for parts of Texas and a few spots on our Carolina coast. This is nothing that should cause too much travel delay. A system will be exiting the northeast, so weather will be improving for NYC and Boston, but delays are still possible.
Christmas Day will bring some rain and snow to the Pacific Northwest, so that could cause delays around Seattle and Portland. The Carolinas and northeast look clear, so local travel delays aren’t likely. Some rain will be pushing through Louisiana and parts of the midwest.
