Whataburger and Wrangler Announce Fashion Collaboration – RetailWire

Whataburger and Wrangler have announced an iconic new collaboration, which they teased during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). The 2024 Wrangler NFR was held from Dec. 5 through 14 this year. It is the championship event for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and is considered the world’s top rodeo. It’s been held annually since 1959.

This limited-edition fashion line collaboration, set to debut in the spring, will include denim jackets, vests, jeans, graphic tees, and ball caps. All the items pay homage to two legendary “W” brands, according to QSR Magazine.

Rachael Jones, Whataburger’s director of CPG, licensing, and retail segment operations, has worked closely on the project since 2020. Jones said in a statement published by the outlet, “This idea was many years in the making. We’ve worked back and forth on this line, and we probably had about three or four different iterations of what this collaboration would look like. We wanted clear nods to the legacy of both brands to reflect in the clothes. It’s such a fun way to do something different for our fans and allow them to feel proud of their hometown burger joint.”

The 24-piece collection will be available as part of Wrangler’s spring 2025 line. It includes items for both men and women. There are orange-and-white-striped shirts, vintage T-shirts, long-sleeved denim shirts, trucker hats, jeans, and women’s cut-off denim shorts with two Whataburger logos emblazoned on the rear pockets.

Whataburger’s New Collab Comes on the Heels of the Company’s ‘Sleigh the Holidays’ Promotion

Whataburger has previously been a part of clothing and product collaborations with brands such as Magellan, Chubbies, Igloo, James Avery, Vineyard Vines, Staunch Traditional Outfitters, and Yeti. Meanwhile, Wrangler has paired with Kendra Scott, Hot Wheels, Happy Socks, and PacSun. An official release date for this new collab has not yet been verified by either Whataburger or Wrangler brands.

This announcement comes on the heels of Whataburger’s “Sleigh the Holidays” promotion. A selection of holiday-inspired gifts was created to honor the Whataburger fan in your life. From Fry Box Socks to an orange-and-white Christmas sweater, fans of the brand can be dressed head to toe in gear from their favorite restaurant.

Whataburger is a fast-food chain that serves burgers, chicken, breakfast, and salads. The chain is known for its large burgers, which are made to order on a toasted 5-inch bun and served with a variety of toppings. Whataburger is also known for its iconic orange-and-white-striped restaurants and its famous Fancy Ketchup.
