December 24, 2024 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fitness Machine Technicians recently celebrated two of its franchisees with Franchisee of the Year and Rookie of the Year Awards. Husband-wife duo Nick and Marcedez Peterson, multi-unit owners of Fitness Machine Technicians of Denver and Kansas City, were granted the Franchisee of the Year Award at the company’s international convention at the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico. New to the brand, Jim Dudley, owner of Fitness Machine Technicians of Greater Fort Myers, was honored as the Rookie of the Year. This was the first time that Main Line Brands brought together all three brands in an international setting for its annual convention.

“Bringing our franchisees from all three brands together for the first time far exceeded our expectations,” said Chris Buitron, chief executive officer of Main Line Brands. “As a parent company, our goal with this convention was to encourage relationship building, offer effective business resources for owners and celebrate their accomplishments over the past year. From Canada to Puerto Rico and across the U.S., our local owners continue to keep Mosquito Authority, Pest Authority and Fitness Machine Technicians at the top of the leaderboard in their respective industries. We’re proud to recognize those who are leading the charge in strengthening each of our brands.”

The Petersons were honored as Franchisee of the Year due to their commitment to operating with a successful combination of business building, ambassadorship and supporting the philosophies of the Fitness Machine Technicians brand. A multi-unit business, the Petersons operate in two markets, providing consistent, high-quality equipment maintenance services and exceptional customer service for commercial and residential customers. The family-operated business is led by Nick Peterson, who brings a 20-year career in telecommunications as a technician prior to opening his locations.

“We feel incredibly honored to have received this recognition and are grateful to the Main Line Brands team for their continued support over the past five years,” said Peterson. “As a brand based in the western United States, it’s important for us to help others live a healthy lifestyle—starting with their fitness equipment. We have built a family-operated business that prioritizes rapid response and quality technician services to prolong the life of fitness machines for both businesses and residential customers, and we’re excited to continue serving the Denver and Kansas City communities in the years to come.”

Dudley received the Rookie of the Year Award, a recognition for the rapid revenue growth he achieved during his first two years of operation. After an over 30-year career in the petroleum and trucking industries, Dudley found a passion for problem solving, equipment repair and delivering high-quality customer service, leading him to Fitness Machine Technicians. Offering machine repair and preventive maintenance services for commercial spaces like hotels, corporate gyms, health clubs and apartments, Dudley remains committed to keeping customer service and streamlined communication at the center of his business.

“After rounding out my first two years as a Fitness Machine Technicians owner, I’m humbled by the recognition from the Main Line Brands team,” said Dudley. “I’m proud of the work my team puts in every day to deliver an experience that exceeds expectations, no matter the size of the job. I look forward to more success in the years ahead as part of such a supportive franchise system.”
