Rihanna reveals the 2000s outfit that she regrets wearing: ‘What the f**k was I thinking?’

Rihanna is known for her fashion prowess – but there’s one look she absolutely regrets wearing.

On Monday, content creator Ajay Porter, also known as Mystery Fashionist to his 98,000 TikTok followers, interviewed the Fenty Beauty founder this week – and she spoke about her major fashion regret from the early 2000s.

‘Oh my God, why y’all gotta bring up old s**t?’ the hitmaker, 36, responded when asked about her biggest style faux pas by Mystery Fashionist, who has also interviewed Cardi B, Kevin Hart, and Adam Sandler

‘When I first started, and I was wearing like the baggy jeans, with the panties out,’ she admitted.

‘What the f**k was I thinking?’ the Love On The Brain songstress asked in disbelief.

When the interviewer said the trend had resurfaced in recent years as Y2K era fashion has made a comeback, the mom-of-two joked that it’s better left in the past.

Rihanna then broke down what she was currently wearing, and declared, ‘It’s called growth, y’all!’

Her current outfit included a Christian Dior jacket paired with Yves Saint Laurent pants, snakeskin boots, and a studded black belt.

The hitmaker told the fashion guru that she can’t live without a good New York snapback, fitted vintage jeans, and her ‘little speedy croc LV-monogrammed bag.’

The Umbrella singer said she also loves to wear underwear from her wildly popular brand Savage X Fenty.

Rihanna was a massive fan of showing off a peek of her underwear underneath ultra low-rise jeans when she first started her career in the early 2000s.

She often hit awards shows in 2005 and 2006 while wearing the style she now hates paired with ab-baring crop tops or glittering hoodies.

Since her pop music days, she has become a certified fashionista, known for her daring outfits on the red carpet and her signature street style.

Commenters loved her openness in the interview, with one saying that she ‘radiates good vibes.’

‘Everything she wears looks good,’ one complimented.

‘She’s an icon. she’s a legend. and she IS the moment,’ another one of her fans enthused.
