NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti & RTX 5070 Specs Leak: Core Count, GPU Die, VRAM, & TGP Revealed

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti & RTX 5070 GPU specifications have once again been reaffirmed by the renowned leaker, Kopite7kimi.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will use GB203 die, and features 8960 Cuda Cores With 16 GB Memory, while RTX 5070 Ti will utilize the GB205 die & will feature 6144 Cuda Cores with 12 GB Memory

NVIDIA’s upcoming Blackwell RTX 50 series GPUs are about to be unveiled at CES, but a lot of leaks have been surfacing for several weeks. These leaks have revealed the supposed specifications of some of the SKUs, and now one more leak has surfaced online, showing us more detailed specifications of two SKUs.

These are the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and the RTX 5070, which are the upper mid-range GPUs in the lineup. The leaker @Kopite7Kimi lists the specs of both GPUs, revealing the board, GPU die, Cuda Cores, VRAM, and the TBP.

The leaked specifications show us that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 retains the same memory configuration as the RTX 4070 except for the memory type, but the RTX 5070 Ti gets a better GB203 GPU out of the box, and hence 16GB VRAM.

Here are the supposed specifications of the RTX 5070 Ti:

  • SKU Name: GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
  • Board: PG147-SKU60
  • GPU: GB203-300-A1
  • Cuda Cores: 8960
  • VRAM: 16 GB GDDR7 256-bit
  • TBP: 300W

It was already revealed that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti would boast a 16 GB GDDR7 memory configuration on a 256-bit memory bus and some of the other rumored specs seem to be true, including the GB203-300 GPU and the PG147 SKU60 board. Apart from these, the Cuda Core count also matched the earlier rumors, but thankfully, the TBP is lower than speculated. We got a 50W reduced TBP for the GPU, which is just 15W higher than its predecessor, the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070 Ti Super. Do note that some models may still opt for the higher 350W TBP.

  • SKU Name: GeForce RTX 5070
  • Board: PG146-SKU70
  • GPU: GB205-300-A1
  • Cuda Cores: 6144
  • VRAM: 12 GB GDDR7 192-bit
  • TBP: 250W

As for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, the GPU is said to use the GB205-300-A1 die, confirming the early leaks. It will feature the same VRAM capacity as the RTX 4070 and hence, the same memory bus, but the memory type is GDDR7. The TBP is 250W as was previously rumored and the Cuda Core count got a slight decrease, i.e., from 6400 to 6144.

Remember that these aren’t the official specs, but considering how accurate Kopite has been with his previous leaks, and how these specs match the information from other sources, it’s highly likely that we will see these specs in the final versions. Pricing isn’t yet revealed, but it’s unlikely that NVIDIA will lower the prices of these cards compared to their predecessors. Expect both RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 to be released in Q1 2025 after NVIDIA launches the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090.
