Jobs created with opening of 40,000-square-foot Hyundai facility in Roanoke County

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Southern Team Automotive Group has opened a Hyundai sales and service facility at 7300 Williamson Road in Roanoke, replacing a smaller facility that was on Peters Creek Road.

This almost-40,000-plus-square-foot facility is at the intersection of Peters Creek Road and Williamson Road, across from the Kroger-Hollins store, according to Southern Team President David Dillon, who says this is the third all-new Hyundai facility built in the Roanoke Valley since 1988.

With the new facility four times larger than the Peters Creek facility, Dillon says the company has hired 15 additional employees and expects to add ten more over the next six months. Applications can be submitted at careers.hireology.com/southernteamautomall.

Dillon says the new facility has a two-story open showroom, LED lighting, two indoor sales/service lounges, and updated service bays, along with other modern amenities.
