Hiney Heroes to take part in ‘World’s Largest Diaper Driver,’ organization says

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) – Hiney Heroes, a non-profit diaper bank based in Rock Island says they’re joining many diaper banks across the country to participate in the “World’s Largest Diaper Drive.”

The goal of the drive to collaboratively raise over 2M diapers for families in need during the month of May, event organizers said. Hiney Heroes is asking for the communities help in reaching this goal. All diapers and funds collected in the Quad Cities will stay within the QCA community to help families struggling to afford enough diapers for their children.

Diapers will be collected at various locations throughout the QCA according to event organizers. The participating locations include:

  • Bill’s Moving and Storage
  • Kindercare in Bettendorf, two locations
  • Howell Chiropractic
  • ProMax Unlimited
  • Modern Woodmen of America
  • Sun Retreats Rock River
  • Grand Rivers Pilot Club
  • The Mill House in LeClaire
  • Port Byron Library
  • Trevor Volz State Farm
  • In This Issue Comics
  • Promisse Cosmetics & Hair Studio
  • Argo Moving
  • DuTrac Credit Unions, all QCA locations
  • Wayne Montgomery Cash & Carry Carpets
  • Java Java Cafe, all locations
