Michigan State basketball received a high seed in the first edition of bracket projections from FOX Sports this year.
Michael DeCourcey of FOX Sports released his first batch of 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket projections on Friday, and he has the Spartans sitting amongst the top four seeds. DeCourcey has the Spartans as a No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region. Michigan State would face No. 13 Kent State in the first round in this projected tournament bracket.
Michigan State is currently riding a five-game winning streak and has won eight of their last nine games. The Spartans are 10-2 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play so far this year.
Next up for Michigan State is one final non-conference matchup against Western Michigan on Monday. Tipoff between the Spartans and Broncos is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.
