Sunrise’s incredibly popular Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury anime series has combined fashion with studious flair, releasing an Asticassia School tote bag for international fans.

Via a press release, FRONT DESIGN’s Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury-inspired Asticassia School of Technology tote bag, first launched in 2023, was made available overseas through the proxy shipping service Buyee. The bag features the Asticassia school logo on its front and comes with a removable patch. It retails for 12,210 yen (~$77). The Gundam tote bag has a detachable shoulder belt for versatility and a side pocket for items like plastic bottles or folding umbrellas; it also features a D-ring, convenient for carrying keys and passcases. As Gundam fans check out the new Asticassia tote bag, it was just announced on Dec. 28 that Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury will receive a new manga spinoff following high school students Suletta and Miorine in a parallel world set in a near-future Japan. The series, by Morion Airline’s HISADAKE and Hiro Hata (Art), will be serialized in Monthly NewType starting in Spring 2025. HISADAKE also helped construct the anime’s setting.
